Charles Schwab & Co. is the best financial services firm in the U.S. when it comes to investor satisfaction, according to the latest J.D. Power ranking. Survey respondents gave the firm a score of 838 on a scale of 1,000, landing it in the same top spot that it occupied last year, InvestmentNews reports.
The J.D. Power survey, taken in January 2017, quizzed 6,500 investors, who use financial advisors for at least part of their money, about things like investment performance, account information, product offerings, commissions and fees, websites and problem resolution, the publication points out.
Taking second place in the “U.S. Full Service Investor Satisfaction Study” was Fidelity Investments, which notched a score of 835. Edward Jones (833) was third, followed by U.S. Bank (830) and UBS Financial Services (827). Stifel Nicolaus & Co. (826) placed sixth, followed by Wells Fargo Advisors (824), Raymond James (819), Merrill Lynch Wealth Management (818) and Ameriprise Financial (817).
